About Brian

Brian Fournier’s attachment to the Pawleys Island community was first nurtured three decades

ago, when his family purchased a second home. After spending the summers of his youth

vacationing at DeBordieu Colony, Brian followed his career ambitions to a different Carolina

beach, pursuing his tourism management degree at the University of North Carolina at

Wilmington.


Immediately after graduating in 2013, Brian launched a B2C digital marketing company aimed

at providing website design, search engine optimization, branding, graphic design, and other

creative marketing services to local clients. The call to return to his old stomping grounds drew

Brian home, where he took on the role of Marketing Director at DeBordieu Colony Real Estate.

Brian credits his expertise as a small business owner as a significant part of his success in

excelling at PeaceSIR, where he has facilitated the growth of a dynamic, thriving team.

After four years as Marketing Director, Brian was asked to become the Chief Operating Officer

for the firm – a position he enthusiastically accepted and has maintained ever since! As COO,

Brian is primarily focused on providing mentorship for PeaceSIR sales agents as they compete

in an increasingly competitive marketplace. On any given day, Brian can be found offering

community-based insights, demonstrating how to use cutting-edge real estate technology, and

inspiring his team by challenging them to tap into their strengths and refine their areas of

improvement regarding the way they conduct real estate.


Brian is most excited about continuing to find ways to influence, develop, and assist his sales

team in all facets. He developed one of his most recent initiatives – ASCEND – in 2019, which is

focused on fostering leadership skills and is currently provided by Anywhere (formerly

Realogy).


Outside of PeaceSIR, Brian devotes his time to his wife Lauren, daughter Harper, and son

Turner. They can frequently be found attending community events at The Reserve or exploring

the tidal creeks of North Inlet by boat. A lifelong golfer, Brian strives to spend time on the golf

course as frequently as possible.


Whereas other real estate groups may operate according to an “everyone for themselves”

mentality, Brian believes that the mentorship-based approach at PeaceSIR embodies best

practices in real estate and sets them miles apart from competitor agencies. New agents can

trust that, when they join the PeaceSIR team, they will be valued for their expertise and

challenged to continue advancing their skills.
